Dawn + Dallas

After returning from a trip to Mexico as a celebration for my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary, Facebook reminded me of another lovely couple when it introduced me to Carsyn.
On April 11, Dawn and Dallas welcomed their son Carsyn William into their world. If you have the pleasure of knowing this fun-loving couple, you also know Carsyn is a lucky little man as his life will certainly be full of laughter.
This family first started taking shape back in 2013 when Dawn and Dallas met at a softball tournament. True to her nature, Dawn regularly teased Dallas, a favorite joke being his "smooth talk wasn't so smooth." And yet, Dallas lured her in.
I didn't have the pleasure of meeting this couple until before their wedding, two years later. I'm not sure another couple has made me laugh so much as these two did the first time we met, especially when Dawn confessed to cussing up a storm when Dallas proposed to her . . . in front of her family.
The laughter continued when they married on July 17, 2015, at Chancey's Event Center. Traditionally, couples reserve the party music for the reception, but not Dawn and Dallas, who started it during the processional and continued it until midnight.
I will not soon forget the toasts. Everyone loved the top ten list Dallas' brothers created in their friendly, reception roast that caused one groomsman to laugh himself right out of his chair.
From their first-look to the exchanging of rings to the first dance, Dawn and Dallas shared innumerable, lovely moments, moments that always make me feel incredibly lucky to call myself a wedding photographer.
